Robin Wilde

Established in 1963 by Robin's grandfather and his family, Sir Francis 'Fearnley' Wilde, the little Irish stable began to grow as an influx of thoroughbred ex-racehorses were in need of rehabilitation.

Through the years, it progressed and evolved in the Equestrian world, becoming known for their promise in striving to produce quality over quantity...moving from retraining, to the breeding and competing of performance horses in modern english disciplines.

Although the stud does not specialise in the rehabilitaion and re-training of ex-racers anymore, the current owners take their knowledge from this trade and apply it wholeheartedly into the producing of fantastic competition equines.

Owner and training co-ordinator at FWEC

"Why worry, when you can focus on something that makes your heart happy? Come on, ride with me."

Robin is a man with a true happy-go-lucky attitude and forever holds a positive outlook on life.

He is married to Cora Wilde and together, they run Fearnley Wilde Equestrian Center with pride, striving to bring out the best in themselves, their horses and everyone around them.

He owns FWE Rukii Jikata exclusively and is the center's head trainer, specialising in dressage.

"To view the world through the ears of your horse...that's a special kind of pleasure."

Cora is a kind-hearted and compassionate woman, but she is strong-willed when she needs to be.

Owning FWE Coral Tempest exclusively, Cora found her love of the Arabian horse breed from the very moment the stallion was given to her.

He was an early birthday present from Robin, soon after he acquired Rukii through a featured breeding at Akiyama Stud.

She trains in cross-country and competes regularly.

Stable manager and competitor

"My horse is my best friend and nothing, and no-one, will change that."

Jenna Hoxley is FWEC's stable manager, appointed by Robin after her voluntary work experience program expired.

She joined our team along with her KWPN mare, Jazzy Bleu and insisted we register her with our prefix.

She was desperate to get into the world of competition and really pursue her passion for all things equine.

She competes often in dressage and showjumping, and keeps the yard spotless!

"I just want to be the best I can, and with the right horse, and the right team, I can achieve anything."

Andrew came to us from across the Mersey, from Liverpool.

He had applied to join Team FWEC for the prospect of leasing an eventing performance horse and pursuing a successful equestrian career.

After around four months, Andrew is now a fully fledged member of the team, having fulfilled the requirements of the position and paid his fees.

He has taken charge of FWE Chester Lad's training and showing schedule.

Manager at FWEC Warmbloods

29 years old

"I work pretty hard...but I play even harder!"

Preston is a quiet lad but when the moment arises, he can be quite the handful.

He enjoys the easier side of the job, mainly the riding and manual tasks.

Preston has a thick cockney accent since he came to us from London's East End.

He has only been working with horses for three years, but he is a quick learner and holds knowledge about their welfare and overall safety very well.

We appointed him as manager because we feel that he has the correct attitude and way of being about him.

Rider and competitor at FWEC Warmbloods

19 years old

"Horses give me the motivation to follow my dreams. If I didn't have them in my life, I probably wouldn't be here."

Young Louie Graham is the daughter of a poor Irish farming couple.

She struggled through education and home-life due to the strife of her family's wellbeing and lifestyle.

She happens to be rather strong-headed but she has a heart of gold.

It was Preston who introduced her to Robin and Cora, through finding her sadly trying to end her life and at such a young age.

She now lives a much happier life at the FWEC Warmblood yard, and sees her parents often.
